"Lincoln" the Constitution and the Civil War," a national traveling exhibition which focuses on Abraham Lincoln's struggle to meet the constitutional challenges of the Civil War, will be at the Willmar Public Library now thru February. Come and take a look. There were only 4 sites in Minnesota to be selected and we are one of them. Free to look at the exhibit.

* Saturday, February 4: 2 pm to 3 pm: following a brief talk, taking a beautiful and exhilarating winter hike with snowshoes...an alternative recreational/exercise hike will be if there is no or limited snow
* Sunday, February 5: 2 pm to 3 pm: Winter Bird Feeding Tips: learn about foods, feeders, bird identification and behavior
* Tuesday, February 7: 7 pm to 8 pm: Moonlit Snowshow Hike: Enjoy an exhilarating evening of snowshoeing under the light of the moon, a walk will be conducted with no or limit snow. Limit 20 people, call 354-2002 or 2055 for reservations, must be at least 10 years of age.

The Kandiyohi County Historical Society would like to invite everyone to visit the display featuring the Civil War Veterans of Kandiyohi County. The Society has compiled a list of over 200 civil war veterans that lived in the county and are included in the display. They will always welcome new information, photos or artifacts on the soldiers.
