Sunday and Monday, March 21 & 22 - Audition Call for "The Music Man" at the Barn Theatre
7 pm each night, Barn Theatre, Willmar
The Barn Theatre is seeking broad range of actors, singers, instrumentalists and barbershop style singers for the upcoming production of "The Music Man" being presented in June. Auditions Sunday and Monday, March 21 & 22, 7 pm each evening with call backs on March 23rd if needed. Perusal scripts will be at the Barn, Tuesday, March 16. The Woodbury Chorus and Orchestra will present the program "Celebration of Life" composed of choral and orchestral music. There is no charge for the program and no reservation or ticket is necessary. A free will offering will be taken with 100% of the proceeds given jto the Willmar Area Food Shelf in keeping with the group's mission of donating all concert proceeds wherever they perform. Everyone is welcome. This is the first time the Woodbury Chorus and Orchestra have scheduled a concert in Willmar.

There will also be a "specialty " pie auction throughout the night as part of the fundraiser. This fundraiser is for the JAM kids to go to SERVE to Thunder Bay, Ontario in Canada this summer. This presentation will be presented by 3 mystery writers: established in the fall of 2000, the Crime Wave consists of mystery writers Ellen Hart, Carl Brookins, and Willmar Kent Krueger. Between them they have published more than 30 novels and have received nearly 2 dozen local, regional and national awards for their writing.

About 30 people gathered in Willmar January 30 to discuss local environmental issues and ways in which a local Sierra Club group can address them. The next meeting will be held Saturday, March 20 in Montevideo. Participants will engage in immediate action concerning the Clean Air Act, then choose the group's initial priorities for local action and begin work plans for those priorities along with considering how to work together with other local environmental groups.
