(St. Paul, MN) -- The Wild go for their third straight win tonight when
they host the Edmonton Oilers at the Xcel Energy Center in downtown Saint
Paul. The Wild have beaten the Oilers 12 straight times at home, and they
need a win to keep pace in the N-H-L Western Conference playoff race. The
Wild have 72 points, eight behind Detroit for the eighth and final spot in
the Stanley Cup playoffs. Just ahead of the Wild are Saint Louis and
Calgary. Edmonton is at the bottom of the conference standings with 49
points, which is the fewest in the N-H-L.
