(Indianapolis, IN) -- Despite losing by a wide margin in the Big Ten title game Sunday, the Gopher men's basketball team will play in the N-C-Double-A tournament. Minnesota was crushed by Ohio State 90-61, but due to their previous wins over Purdue and Michigan State, they have been picked by the tournament selection committee to take on Xavier in the first round this Friday in Milwaukee. Syracuse is the number-one seed in the West Region. The Gophers are the 11th seed while Xavier is 6th.
