Florida overcame an early 2-0 deficit after goals by Mikko Koivu and Robbie Earl. Niklas Backstrom stopped 29 shots for the Wild who lost their third straight. The Wild are 31-28 and 6 overall and six points back of making the N-H-L playoffs.
